Monday 13:30 - 15:30

Monday Club is the church’s Craft and Leisure Afternoon. Here is space for busy people or carers to relax,  and for those who live alone to enjoy some creative company.  We support charities such as Operation Christmas Child, Leprosy Mission and Caring for Life.

Friday 5:30 – 7:30 school term time 

Cafe Friday is the church’s weekly cafe offering fresh coffee, snacks, home baked cake and good company.  A time to chill, do a jigsaw,  enjoy table games.  The Cafe runs alongside Friday Club, so why not drop off your child (Year 1 – 5) and come in?  5.30 to 7.30pm in term time.

First Tuesday of each month at 12.30

Soup Lunch Club   Church member Sheila Butcher and her team provide home-made soup, fresh bread and a tasty dessert.  The group is designed for anyone who is lonely during the day and could do with some company. Come along or ring Sheila for more details 07794 844 564.  Vegetarian and gluten free.

Planning your Visit

A Very Warm Welcome 

If you are new to the Church (or any Church) or are simply thinking of coming along, then this page is for you.  Whoever you are, whatever your background, you are most welcome.  You don't need to be a Christian or be a "good" person,  Jesus welcomes all and we, at Rothwell Baptist Church want to do the same.

We would normally say at this stage, come along to one of our services on Sunday.  However, you will understand that at the moment our building is closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.   Don't worry though it's still possible for you to meet us at our weekly online service.

We meet using the popular Zoom conferencing software.  You can use Zoom on almost all phones, tablets and laptop computers.  A link to Zoom's web site is here.  If you own a Windows 10 S Laptop, then simply update your Edge browser to the latest version and you can access Zoom using that; it's easy.

We only ask that you contact us to get the Zoom meeting details.  You can then join and see what we are like, you don't have to say anything and we don't even need to see what you look like if you turn off your video.
